Explora “La Posada de Mike Rapu” – Easter Island

Underneath the hotel, surrounded by eucalyptus, stand the swimming pool and its outdoor jacuzzi. You can enjoy the sun with a glass in hand since a bar is also available on site. Little extra, an ancestral sauna was built in the same space (about 25,000 Chilean pesos per session).
Meanwhile the Hare Taheta spa offers a beautiful view of the surrounding plains with the ocean at the back. 2 treatment rooms offer different types of massage, using high quality essential oils. Reservation and payment on site (approximately 40,000 Chilean pesos 30min).
There is no TV in the living room or the rooms, the concept of Explora chain, being 'living close to nature'.
A small shop is located near the bar. You will find the right clothes for exploration, hiking shoes, books on Rapa Nui, some jewelry and handcrafts.
The "exploration" or excursions offered by the hotel are done with professional guides, mostly natives of the island, in semi private groups (8 travelers maximum). A wide range of activities in half or full day is available with hiking, biking, exploring the ocean (snorkeling, fishing and traditional boat trips), which will allow you to gain a deep knowledge of the culture and geography of Rapa Nui, its megalithic remains, the moai, and the peculiarities of its inhabitants. Do not hesitate to discuss with your guide, who will help you choose the best suited tour according to your interests and abilities.

The hotel accepts children from 3 years old, however, there is no special infrastructure adapted or special food menu. Explorations are also not recommended for children under 12.
