A snack bar is located above the restaurant. Large room bright and airy with several tables and chairs, offering salads, sandwiches and drinks with or without alcohol.

06:00 - 10:00 pm Cosy bar with a friendly atmosphere located near the reception. Comfy reading corner with sofas. Lovely Rapa Nui handicrafts brighten the place. Note: Do not hesitate to ask the bartender for a pisco (grape-based hard alcohol) sour, it is the specialty of the island.

Possible activities located few steps away from Vai Moana :
- Ahu Tahai:
nearest archaeological site of Hanga Roa. Backed by the sea, it consists of three platforms built at different times. A few minutes away from your hotel, you'll get a first glimpse of the stone statues called Moai.
Set yourself on Tahai's hill and do not miss the amazing sunsets! By late afternoon, locals mingle with tourists and all are eagerly awaiting the moment when the Moai are bathed in light. Come feel this special atmosphere.
- Anthropological Museum P.Sebastian Englert:
Small place (maximum 2h to get through it) but very informative. It gives you a good introduction to the local history. Try to visit it before going on tours around the island. Approx USD5 per person entrance fee. Opening hours and days: From Tuesday to Friday: 09h30 - 17h30 / Saturday Sunday & Public Holidays: 09h30 - 12h30 (Closed on Mondays).
