Don't miss a visit to a pearl farm located on-site the lodge with explanation and demonstration of grafting. You can also take part in the "pearl lottery" (to be paid on spot). Dive into the oyster park with flippers and mask and choose a mother-of-pearl directly from the string. If there's no pearl, you take one back. So, basically, you win every time! You can then have your pearl showcased in a bracelet or necklace.
The lodge offers a number of paid activities (to be purchased locally):
- Half-day lagoon excursions to the "green lagoon" spot or the motu aux oiseaux.
- Full-day excursions to Fakarava's south pass, Tetamanu village and pink sand motus (lunch included)
- Lagoon or deep-sea fishing off the island
