Le Tahiti Golf Open International

The Tahiti Golf Open International make a strong comeback for this 33rd edition offering an exceptional landscape to participants.

In 2017 the event took a significant scope by changing location. After 32 years in Papara, the Tahiti Golf Open International 2017 took place on the amazing course of the Moorea Green Pearl. This place seduced international players including 15 amateurs et 40 professionals. Those golf lovers coming from Australia, New-Zealand and New-Caledonia will be expected for this 33rd edition.

More than a hundred golfers, amateurs and professionals, will tread on the greens of the Moorea Green Pearl from May 20th to May 25th 2018. Local and international players will come face to face on a 18 wholes course, in a majestic place, where vertiginous mountains and turquoise lagoon face each other.

By suggesting this unique location, the Polynesian Golf Federation (FPG) would like to focus on tourism and enable the « sister island » to benefit the advantages from this event. Moorea has so much to offer with the wealth of its lagoon and mountain.

The FPG aims to offer an international scale to this competition and that the Tahiti Golf Open International become a major event that cannot be missed for professional and amateur golfers.
