Located on the heights of the village of Vaipaee, on mountain side, the Guesthouse Mana Tupuna Village is run by a family of Marquesan sculptors. These bungalows overlook the valley, crossed by a small river. With their bright green colors, these "ha'e" (the equivalent of "fare" in the Marquesan language) blend in perfectly with the surrounding nature. The interior design is a blend of local materials, including woven bamboo, carved poles, Marquesan artifacts and colorful fabrics. The rooms are spacious and the private bathrooms are equipped with hot water. Nearby, the restaurant, with a similar decor, welcomes you in all conviviality for a family cooking based on typical products of the island.
